The Swiftarrow Crew, Part 2

Episode 0.5 - Fire, Flood, Dirt and Tornado

Today, we are going to look at the final prep work on the party. For each character, we will present a behavior they always default to and one they never participate in. In addition, there will be a blurb in which each character gives a brief impression of the character we are looking at.

Jonathan Swiftarrow

Always Behavior:

Jonathan sees everyone as a friend and will always approach in the open and try to talk to any sentient encountered, and most beasts and plants

Never Behavior:

Jonathan does not loot the bodies of minions or steal from noncombatants.

Grump Swiftarrow Impression:

‘E’s a good soldier, instincts almost as good as mine. Unfortunately, ‘e’s a little too elfy, just waitin’ for him gettin’ sassed by a houseplant.

Carolyn Swiftarrow Impression:

He is good enough with a sword, but I hope he doesn’t try to bring a demon home for dinner.

Sasha Swiftarrow Impression:

A perfect leader, quick with the blade, stupid enough to stand in danger and flighty enough to not see what really goes down.

Grump Swiftarrow

Always Behavior:

The one thing that makes Grump happy is loot, and he will always search a room that is part of a dungeon or enemy fortress.

Never Behavior:

As cranky as Grump is, Grump would never willingly leave a friend or a companion behind. He will always be the last to retreat.

Jonathan Swiftarrow Impression:

A good dwarf, he always seems angry, but really, he never is. A found bauble or tankard will bring a smile to his face.

Carolyn Swiftarrow Impression:

What a bore, honestly, his only use is as a brick wall to hide behind - and never try to talk to him.

Sasha Swiftarrow Impression:

A merchant’s son or something, then raised in a temple. From someone who never had to make a choice between food and crime and still is quick to grab any spare coin, he talks a lot about the “moral choice.”

Carolyn Swiftarrow
Always Behavior:

Carolyn Swiftarrow will always search for scrolls, maps, and books.

Never Behavior:

Carolyn never leaves a room until she has read any engravings or scrivings and at least the title of every book.

Jonathan Swiftarrow Impression:

Smartest person I have ever met. A bit dull in a tavern, and I am not sure why she ever leaves her desk.

Grump Swiftarrow Impression:

If Jonathan is too elfy in the talking to plants ways, Carolyn is too elfy in the talking to books ways, and knowing a lot about nothing.

Sasha Swiftarrow Impression:

Whooboy, Carolyn has all of the benefits of city life and of an education. I envy her, but honestly, she is a bit boring.

Sasha Swiftarrow

Always Behavior:

Sasha will always search all doors and rooms that she enters.

Never Behavior:

Sasha never goes first; even if she finds and disarms a trap, she will let someone else test it.

Jonathan Swiftarrow Impression:

She sees what I do not notice, but she is way too cautious - sometimes you need to trust your, well, my gut.

Grump Swiftarrow Impression:

As smart as Carolyn, but knows useful information. Carolyn will go on about traditional Grung recipes, but Sasha knows how people build traps and snares.

Carolyn Swiftarrow Impression:

Excellent bait, but sometimes she is a little too restless, and she always wants someone else to take the risk.
